I got your message...sorry I haven't gotten a chance to call you back...we had TAKS today and we leave for our honeymoon at 5:30 AM tomorrow morning! Off to St.Lucia, we can't wait! So needless to say, it's been a little hectic around here. I think I was less stressed before the wedding :)

Anyway, we wanted to let you know what an absolutely fantastic job you did for our wedding. Everyone had such a great time and you were definitely a big part of that! I have been to tons of weddings, but I have never seen so many people dance (and for so long!) Your music was so perfect and it kept the party going!! (Even past when we were supposed to leave--we were just having too much fun!!) I cannot express to you how wonderful of a job you did...I want to have another party just so we can have that much fun again! So many people came up to us and told us it was the best reception they had ever been to--and these were people who go to tons of weddings! We seriously got so many compliments on the extraordinary job you did--thank you for making our wedding so special and unique! You read the crowd perfectly and made the night even better than it already was! Thank you, thank you, thank you! Jim was totally right in his high praises of you! You were great!

How are you? I'm sorry I missed your call the other day. My phone is jacked up out here. I'm waiting for them to send me a new phone with some new technology. We'll see how that works out here in the boonies. :)

That was so sweet of you to call and ask about us. You are just the most amazing DJ. You made our reception so special. Of course, neither Chris or I ever imagined that he would be in a wheelchair on our wedding day, but you managed to find a way to make our reception more meaningful because of it. We love, love, love the way you had our guests dance to our first dance song. Those were the people who are nearest and dearest to our hearts and we will never ever forget that they were able to dance to the song that Chris and I had chosen to be our first dance as husband and wife. I really can't go on enough about how amazing you were. You made everything run sooooo smoothly and I honestly felt like we had a family member up there DJing for us with as much as you cared about our comfort, Chris's leg and how you took ownership in our reception. Everyone had a blast and Chris and I truly thank you from the bottom of our hearts for making our reception a success. Any couple would be lucky to have you do their wedding. Hey Marshall!!

I first ran into Marshall Argovitz over a year ago at my brother-in-laws wedding. It was basically about a year to our big day so we were on the look out for a D.J. By the end of the night we were making arrangements for our day a year down the road. I have been to quite a few D.J.'d events in my time, ranging from bargin basement D.J.'s to top of the line D.J.'s and I am hear to tell you that Marshall puts them all to shame. I would think that the you can tell a good D.J. from the crowd he keeps up on the dance floor ensuring that the music he plays appeals to the majority of the people at the function. I have never seen so many empty seats!! We had guests coming from all across the States and Canada and for two days after our wedding all I heard were comments on how much our guests enjoyed Marshall. When all was said and done I felt like I made a friend, not hired a D.J. !

Marshall was awesome and a great asset to my wedding as well!!! He also was very personable and never made me feel like a client but like a friend, he really invested interest in us as a couple to get a good feel for how our wedding should go. He played great music and really kept everyone out on the dance floor. After the first little ploy that Marshall did to get people on the dance floor it was never empty! I had a lot of comments etc. from guests saying how great he was and how much fun they had. Marshall is definitely a wonderful vendor and he really takes pride on making your wedding fun for you and your guests.

Marshall was the life of the party. He kept us all laughing and dancing. All of my guests are still talking about how much fun they had with “the DJ”. Marshall was the only one of my vendors that I never had to call. He checked up with me
all through the planning stages to make sure everything was going smoothly and just to see if I was doing ok. Because of  our small budget my DH wanted to hire an amateur DJ, but I’m so glad we decided to go with a professional. With such a small group my guests needed the extra encouragement to get on the dance floor. I know Marshall could keep the party going whether its with 50 or 500. DJ- Marshall Argovitz- Another awesome vendor! WOW!! He did a great job!! Once we got everyone on the dance floor (after first dances and such)—it NEVER cleared. I danced all night and I know DH did, too. Marshall stuck to my no-play and play lists like a champ! I had some good, but not dance-y songs we wanted played during dinner and he did them all! Also, he adhered to my absolutely don’t play list (i.e. chicken dance, Britney, eminem). He rocks and was willing to work with us on the price. Also, he called to check in often during wedding planning (which I will note that most of the higher priced vendors did not!). He is great!

From a Vendor Review on "The Knot" DJ: The Great DJ Marshall of northtexasdj.com!! He made such a great impression on us. He felt like family by the time the big day rolled around. I had an incredibly shy crowd and he got everyone up and dancing. He really knows how to read a group. He's not at all cheesy but he is a bit of a comedian....He had everyone laughing so hard at the beginning with this fake neil diamond anniversary song. Just ask him about it! If you need an ice breaker or just want to get your party going with some laughter after your highly emotional ceremony then you have to ask him about it!
Have to say also, after interviewing so many different djs Marshall was the only one who, after our first meeting, knew exactly what mood, what tone we wanted. I never had to give him a no-play list because he knew right off the top of his head what was crap, what was cheese, and so on. We love this guy!

new sister-in-law's wedding and her DJ was not good at all.  Everyone who

Dear Jim,

I just wanted to say what a joy it was to have Marshall at our Wedding. You were absolutely right, he is unbelievable. Our special night would not have been as much fun if we had booked anyone else. Marshall captivated our reception and made it spectacular. We were all yelling for more. We have been to many receptions over the years and have never seen anyone quite like Marshall. Where did you find him? Well, wherever you found him it was worth it. I am sorry for my rambling on, but we have never seen anything like Marshall. Is he an out patient or something? He should have had a jacket on with sleeves that tie in the back. He needs medication or we did. We have never laughed that much, ever. I would recommend him to anyone for anything. What a music collection and super sound system. Oh, did I forget to mention the light show. One word comes to mind, WOW! Marshall is a true showman and strikes like a Cobra when you're not looking. It was amazing. It was as though the whole room was under his spell. We still are...
